...working in the shelter, not the actual storm! CVCC was activated as a Red Cross shelter Sunday morning and the college staff has been running the shelter until the last family left today. The Governor of Alabama and the College Chancellor teamed up to offer shelters to evacuees allover the state of Alabama. http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/need_to_map/story/428255.html
Though it was hard work and long days, it was an eye-opening experience. It made me grateful for our safety.
