I mentioned in my last post that Libby took her first boat ride last weekend. If I haven't stressed it enough, her father loves the water and loves to fish. So we wanted to get the girl on the boat as soon as we could.

After dinner we suited the Princess up. She tolerated the life jacket, but she was a little confused why she had to wear a bulky vest with lots of buckles. We tried to explain to her it was for her own good - I'm not sure if she bought it. However, once we eased out of the channel, she was warming up to this adventure.

It was the Paparazzi! (a.k.a. excited family members taking pictures)

Once Libby posed for the cameras, we were off...

We rode a while and took a few breaks to let Drew fish. Libby enjoyed the ride and loved cruising around the boat when we stopped. I'm sure this is the first of many boat rides for the Libster.
