Vacation and Old Friends
9:14 PMI love vacation! I've had the entire week off and it's been wonderful. I am going to be so spoiled that I won't want to go back to work next Tuesday. But I can't think about that just yet, I will continue to bask in my down time. I've tried to plan each day so time doesn't sneak past me. I've cleaned, shopped, played with (and said "no" at least 134 times to) Libby. And best of all, I've had a chance to visit with friends.
My first reunion was with five girls that I grew up with at Lakewood Baptist Church. We hung out all the time, went on camping, mission and ski trips together, attended Sunday school and youth choir together, taught vacation bible school together - there are SO many memories with each of these girls. Since everyone was in town for the holidays, we got together with our kids for a reunion/play date.
The kids (l to r): Sara Kate, Libby, Brentley, Allie, Brandt and Bence
The adults (l to r): Coop, Beth H, Emily, Beth P, Billie Jean and Heather {plus a few kids.}
The second reunion was in honor of my friend, Stacy. She moved to Louisiana last year and she was visiting her family in Alabama this week. I enjoyed catching up and laughing really hard with this group. They are one-of-a-kind (read: crazy!)

I'm off to stay up late (again) and find some projects that need attention before I go back to work. So much to do. Happy New Year to each of you!

Looks like you had a fun girl time with others on your reunion/play date, and it's understandable that you don't want to go back to work, since... Who wants to end this kind of relaxing activity anyways, right?
