Blog readers, how are you?  I hope you're doing well. I'm currently in week four of Couch to 5K and much to my surprise, it's not bad at all. Though it's not my first go at running, this is a much friendlier way to ease into shape. If you've considered running a race, this is a great way to train. 

Week Four:

4Brisk five-minute warm up walk, then:
  • Jog 1/4 mile (or 3 minutes)
  • Walk 1/8 mile (or 90 seconds)
  • Jog 1/2 mile (or 5 minutes)
  • Walk 1/4 mile (or 2-1/2 minutes)
  • Jog 1/4 mile (or 3 minutes)
  • Walk 1/8 mile (or 90 seconds)
  • Jog 1/2 mile (or 5 minutes)

Last week Drew's family was surprised and saddened by the untimely death of their cousin, Bubba Parkman. Following the funeral, we spent time with many, many Parkman family members and friends of the family. Libby got to play with her distant cousin, James. 


Drew estimated that this tractor is a circa 1968 - 1972 John Deere model. However, the kids decided it was a pirate ship. Ahoy, mateys!


The time with family was special, especially those that we don't get to see as often as we'd like, and we will all miss Bubba. He was a character all his life and it's hard to comprehend this loss. 

In more family news, my brother is in town for the week. He flew in Tuesday. The girls were happy to see Uncle Drew. :)
