Happy Father's Day
5:00 AMThis weekend we pause to celebrate Fathers. This day is meaningful to me because Libby has such a great, loving daddy! Drew has far exceeded my expectations in his role as a father. He loves his little girl so much and I see it in his actions every day. The bond they share is so strong and they look forward to their time together each and every day.
Drew, you are a wonderful father to our baby girl and and great example to us both. We love you so much! I love that you spoil Libby by taking her to get hot cakes on Saturday mornings and showing her how things work on the farm. You are making precious memories for Libby.
Drew and I also have wonderful, loving fathers that we have learned so much from and still do. We appreciate every sacrifice they've made for us over the years. And now that we have a child of our own, we see all the things that parents do that go unnoticed. We know we are blessed to have my dad, Papa, and Drew's dad, Da Da, in our lives each day! We thank God for you both.

Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the dads that were taken from their families this year. 3 family friends lost their fathers this year - fathers that were too young to leave this Earth. Our understanding of their deaths are shallow, but I do believe that their families will see them again in Heaven. I pray for strength for the Coopers, the Gordys and the Carrolls until then. We also cherish the memories of Drew's grandfather, as this is our first Father's Day without him. All of these men meant so much to their families. We will not forget their impact on our lives.
Happy Father's Day! Thank you, Lord for our fathers, their memories and what they mean to us.

Thank you so much Beth! Your words really do mean alot! Of course we serve an awesome God who brings us through all of life's storms regardless of how diffuclt those storms may be - but it is also great family and friends who care so much and send thoughts and prayers that bring us through also!
