I have to admit, I laughed at the thought of my 17-month-old taking a school picture. Shouldn't she be a little older before we start all of that? According to Lakewood Child Development Center, she's not too young. So we geared up for the challenge and I must say she was cute!

I snapped this picture before leaving the house. I have a feeling she was much happier about this picture than with the real photographer. Her teacher said, "She would only make one expression for the camera." Oh dear, can't wait to see the proofs!
