Supa' Hot!
5:08 PMWhoa, it's hot been here in the south. I mean way hot! In the 100's and I don't like it. I know, I've lived here my whole life and should be used to it, but I just can't embrace this kind of heat so early in the summer.
Our first PPF was a success and I can't wait to do it again.
Saturday we went swimming again (notice a theme here?) to celebrate Coop and Kaley's birthdays. Happy Birthday, ladies!
Several of the kids began jumping off the diving board. And guess who got brave and joined in the fun?
She was hesitant, but went in several times. I was shocked, I was sure she'd chicken out. But I was proud of her when she took the plunge!
We enjoyed spending time with the group. The cops even showed up...yes! The officer was nice and said a neighbor complained. They were probably just jealous that they weren't invited. I would be!
And look at these precious kids. I feel a yearbook ad (in 15+ years) in the making!
So far our summer's off to a great start!
