Girls Weekend
7:00 AMThis weekend I was lucky enough to have a great weekend with two old friends. Thanks to all of our schedules finally lining up and my sweet husband for agreeing to be on baby duty, we were able to hit the beach and spend a long weekend together.
Ahh, aren't you feeling more relaxed already?Kathryn and I headed down Thursday after work. We spent all day on the beach, then navigated our way to the Panama City/Bay County airport. We picked Angel up Friday night and our fun continued.
To say the airport was small would be an understatement. We were waiting with about 15 other people for the passengers to unload. We thought it would be entertaining to make a special sign for Angel's arrival. We got several looks and a few laughs. But most all, Angel was surprised...and probably embarrassed!

Kathryn doing her best impression of a limo driver.Our time together was well spent: talking, eating, relaxing on the beach and laughing about college memories. We all live in different cities now and Angel is expecting a little boy in October. Our lives are always changing, so it's great to catch up.
It was such a fun weekend. I hope we can do this every summer. Good friends are a blessing from God...and so is the beach! :)
