Christmas Roundup

The Christmas season of 2012 has come and gone. But I need one last post to cover all the Christmas goodness we took in during the month of December.
We enjoyed Christmas parties with friends.
And Mason finally made the blog!
We made gingerbread houses with Coop and friends.
We took a road trip to Atlanta to celebrate babies that were born in 2012.
Jill, Angel and I graduated high school together and we all had our second baby this year.
Owen, Jacob and Georgia Kate played while their moms traded baby-raising stories.
While we were there we got a bonus visit from my friend, Daryn. She recently moved to Chicago, but flew into Atlanta the morning of our visit. We love Aunt D!
Angel, Daryn and I were roommates at the Phi Mu house our junior year. Those are some of my favorite memories! Daryn certainly got her fill of babies during her short visit.
And I had the pleasure of spending an evening with some old friends. Coop, Jenny, Joanie, Heather and I had dinner and spent the evening together. We pulled out old videos and laughed at ourselves into the wee hours of the morning.
It was so much fun! Old friends and memories have a way of lifting your spirits, huh? These ladies sure had that effect on me.
Christmas break is always a great time to catch up with those we don't get to see as much as we'd like. We had a busy two weeks of visiting and playing with friends. I look forward to the holidays for just this reason.
