Quick Trip to B'ham
10:00 AMLast weekend I made a dash to Birmingham. I went for three reasons:
- To visit my friend and college roomie, Kathryn.
- To do some shopping for Miss Libby (okay, me, too!).
- 'Cause I just had to get out of town. I haven't done anything fun for myself in months and months.
I drove up Friday afternoon and headed straight to Kat's house. We always have so much to catch up on that we talk non-stop (with the exception of sleeping) until it's time to part ways again.
I told you in an earlier post about my love of the children's clothing store Janie and Jack. They have a location at the Summit and we covered every rack.
Why am I so happy?
Because I just purchased precious clothes at Janie and Jack!
We covered lots of ground Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed my trip. It was nice to spend the day with Kathryn and have some grown up time. I hope to did it again soon.
Which shoes to buy? (Aren't we supposed to be using restraint during these tough economical times?)
