I couldn't wait to write a post about the beautiful wedding that we attended for my sweet friend and sorority sister, LeeAnn. She is originally from Enterprise, AL, but is currently living in Wichita, KS while completing her medical residency.

Some history on my friendship with LeeAnn. We met in college and she is one of those people that I honestly will never forget. She is warm and caring and loves to laugh. She was very studious and dedicated in college, while also being thoughtful and understanding. To this day, I could show you the exact table she would sit and study for hours at in the kitchen of the Phi Mu house. I would always stop and share some laughter with LeeAnn on my way in and out of the house. She had a strong faith in God which added to her sweet spirit. So when I received the invitation to her wedding, I was determined to be there. She really is one of the kindest people I've ever known.

The ceremony was held in Santa Rosa Beach.

All the details were so lovely and beachy!

The ceremony was sweet and touching, just like LeeAnn. She married Will, whom she met in medical school at UAB. He seems to be just as friendly and fun as LeeAnn. What a great couple!

We took these pictures right after the ceremony. Awesome evening, awesome sunset!

Then we transitioned into the reception. It was just as lovely as the ceremony. Good food, good drinks, good friends. Several times throughout the night, Kathryn and I said to each other, "I'm so glad we could be here!"

Phi Mu sisters together again. Kathyrn, Jill, LeeAnn and me. Jill and LeeAnn were roommates and I can't say enough about them. They are both special women. Love in our Bond!

It really was a fairy tail wedding. And such a beautiful time of year to enjoy the back drop of the beach. I won't soon forget this great weekend. I am thankful that LeeAnn and Jill crossed my path many years ago. Though we don't see each other as much as we once did, I will always have a warm spot in my heart for them.

After exploring the area, we went back to our condo to throw on swimsuits and spent most of the day on the beach. It was so nice. Warm enough to work on our tans, but not too hot at all. We took two long walks on the beach and enjoyed the picture-perfect water.

During one of our walks I thought I heard someone say, "Beth...?!" I turned around and it was one of our other sorority sisters, Brooke Bendall Burgess, that we haven't seen in years. She was vacationing with a group of friends and family. We got to catch up with her and once again were reminded that no matter how big this world is, it's still small at times!

We finally drug ourselves off the beach to get ready for the big event. It was so fabulous that I'm going to dedicate a post just to the wedding.

I wonder if there's anyone out there that doesn't enjoy fall? The (slow in the south) change of the season, cooler weather and exciting holidays make it so much fun!

Check out this adorable pumpkin top. I just love it! I ordered it from It's in the Bag (You can also find them on Facebook) and I could not be more pleased with it. Libby can rock this tee now through Thanksgiving.

She likes it, too! And notice her sassy hands on hips. My friend, Kathryn, taught her that.

But brace yourself - there's more holiday cuteness to come. Look at this precious tutu that Mercer, from It's in the Bag, made. Adorable!

She also makes them in game day colors for your favorite team. Very cute idea!

Libby had another first this week. Her first ride in a Jeep. Coop has lots of toys (another perk of being her bestie!) one of which is her Jeep.

We just did some light cruising to Subway to grab Kayley a sandwich. It was just before sunset and it felt great outside.

These were taken Sunday morning before church. She loved her dress with the "farm" on it. I did, too!

I told you in my last post that I had a race planned for the weekend. Good news, I finished the race and didn't injure myself.

Our group was all smiles before the race. We're wearing our "Mustang Sidney" t-shirts in memory of Big Sid.

There we go! I was smiling because this was taken early in the race...before I met the really LONG hill at the one mile mark.

We did it! The runners with some of our supporters. My parents were there, too, but I think they'd left before we snapped this shot.

We met and talked with Jeremy Williams. He is fighting ALS and was the honoree of the race. The run raised $15,000 to support ALS research at Emory Hospital in Atlanta. How awesome!

Libby also came to support her mommy and friends. She enjoyed the free bananas and live music!

We hope to run another race soon. Am I really typing that? I told myself if I could make it to the finish line, that I'd stop punishing myself by running! I guess my love/hate relationship with running will be continued.
