FEELS LIKE HOME TO ME

It was a memorable weekend, for sure. Never have I seen so much rain in Panama City Beach. However, God saw that we were going stir crazy in the condo, so He cleared the skies and let us run wild on the beach after hours of stormy weather Saturday afternoon. Sunday was better, just one batch of storms (that just so happen to fall around Libby's nap time) then it was clear and sunny for the rest of the day. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were gorgeous. It was a fun trip!

Libby loves to crawl into anything she can get in. This includes cardboard boxes, Tupperware containers and even her infant tub. Once she has situated herself, she expects to be pushed around the room, apparently it's a lot of fun.

A few weeks ago she found this tray (a tray that is supposed to be used for serving food or decorating) and demanded to be pushed up and down the hall. Good thing she has her daddy trained!

Good thing she's cute, otherwise we might not enjoy her bossing us around!

Just had to share these precious shots that my friend, Beth Hedges, took when she was keeping the nursery last Sunday at church.

She captured Libby, Ethan and Allie (her daughter) being so sweet and cute! Not sure how she did it, but they are darling...and Libby has her shoes on, a miracle, indeed!

For some reason May is the month to be born in our family. We have FOUR birthdays in our family this month. Happy Birthday, May babies!

May 13

My friend, Demetri, was in town this week, so a group of us girls got together to celebrate. We ate and talked and, as you'll see below, took a lot of pictures. There were many more, but I spared you the blurry and extreme close up shots!

We had fun and are looking forward to seeing Demetri again, hopefully soon!

Hudson Taylor Koon was born Wednesday, May 13 at 6:06 pm.

He weighed 7 lbs, 9 oz and was 21 inches long.

He is such a sweet little boy. I can't wait to watch him grow! Jenny and Brian are very excited and are adjusting well to their new lives. Congratulations!

That's right, we got back to our roots (well, not my roots, but my husband's roots) and attended the annual Parkman Family Reunion. There were lots of Parkman aunts, uncles and cousins,-- and I do mean lots! It was nice to see everyone and Libby had fun meeting family members and playing with cousins.

We've had a few additions to the family since last year...

...and learn the Hoedown Throwdown. I have and you should, too! In case you don't know what I'm talking about (or you don't have a child over the age of 4) the Hoedown Throwdown is a dance number from Miley Cyrus's new movie. It's cute, clean, kid-friendly and fun to do. I have a feeling they'll be playing it all summer long.

I know we'll bust it out at her birthday party next month...and probably anywhere else she can get a group together!

Coop, Tootie and I showed off our moves to our Bunco group Wednesday night. As soon as we finished the song, everyone wanted to learn, even our pregnant member, Heather Whatley! It was funny to watch 9 grown women "Pop it, lock it, Polka Dot it..."
